Hey there! Thanks for stopping by the Route 50 Wiki. Before you get around to editing, I'd appreciate it if you read some rules on creating and editing pages. Thanks!
First and foremost, you may ONLY participate in the Wiki if you are a registered member of Route 50. Banned members may not participate.
Creating member information pages are perfectly acceptable. If you are creating someone else's page, however, then you must have the other person's permission.
Mannerisms may only have pages if they are extremely well-known, i.e. Twill nomming on everyone's tails. If only one person is known to perform that mannerism, then simply make a new section on his/her page.
Creating a "redirect" page for a mannerism is perfectly acceptable. Switch to Source mode and click on "More", then on "#REDIRECT [[]]". Type the name of the page between the brackets and delete all other content.
Creative material may only have pages if it has a semi-significant impact on the community by general consensus (i.e. PttR), and if the owner has consented
When adding information to someone else's page, be nice :)
Please don't name new pages by beginning them with the word "The" unless the word "The" is a part of the actual name (i.e. The Evening Apricorn)
Don't be afraid to create pages, though. If a page is unacceptable, a Rt50 Wiki staff member or myself will fix it, and there will be absolutely no infractions unless the edit was an intentional act of trolling, flaming, or spamming. So just have fun and enjoy the wiki! :)
The community currently known as Route 50 was originally known as Eevee's HQ, a Pokemon fansite started by Kat, who was known as Eeveechan at the time. During the next few years, the community expanded and grew, eventually reaching the point that Kat decided that the site should "expand beyond the concept of Eevee." On June 12, 2010, Eevee's HQ was closed down, and Route 50 (which had been open for most of the staff to view) was opened. Since then, Route 50 has grown to be amongst the most popular of online Pokemon communities.
